In A Junk-shop on Tatooine

With their hyperdrive damaged, Padme and and the Jedi made a quick stop on Tatooine. Specifically the city of Mos Espa.

They quickly find a small shop. Inside was a blue Toydarian by the name of Watto. Along with him was a small **** boy. As Padme gets to know the boy, Qui-Gon attempts to barter the peice from Watto. The alien does not accept the generous amount of credits that Qui-Gon has offered him, forcing him to to use an alternative method.

“Credits will do fine,” Qui-Gon says, attempting a Jedi Mind Trick.

“No they won’t!” Watto exclaimed. “What?? You think you some kind of Jedi, waving your arms around? I’m a Toydarian, mind tricks don’t work on me, only money!”

Watto takes a look back inside his shop, seeing the beautiful woman talking to his ****.

“Or maybe we can work out deal, eh?” Watto says, keeping his eye on Padme.
