Over her clothes, except ...

The fabric seemed transparent enough that she'd not dare to wear it over her underwear.
She started looking for the hole for the head, but it didn't appear to be one.
The whole outfit seemed to have only one hole at the bottom and really wasn't much more than an oversized pillowcase.

She tried putting it on, but couldn't seem to be able to. Every time she'd pull it over her head, it'd grind to a halt over her clothes as if they were made from sandpaper.

Grinding her teeth she reluctantly removed her top, only for the costume to get stuck on the fasteners of her bra.

She was about to give up, but something strange compelled her not to.
She unhooked the bra instead and hanged on a hanger.

This time the sheet ell to her belt, and immediately stopped again. Frustrated Lauren tried to take it off, but after a lot of struggle, it was still binding her upper half.
What more it seemed that the more she was struggling the tighter it was getting.
Compelled again she unbuckled her belt and watched in horror as her pants fell to the ground pulling her underwear with them.

She tried to reach for the pants, but couldn't seem to grab them.
"The costume must be messing with my depth perception", she though.

She raised her head to at least take a look at the source of her predicament, only to get an even bigger shock.

Not only the fabric was semi-transparent. Herself was semi-transparent too! She could clearly see the wallpaper pattern behind her!
The contours of her costume seemed smoky and ill-defined.
