Chapter 2
by Delta77
Stay in bed or go downstairs ?
Out the window
You had always been rather paranoid about situations such as these. Whenever you entered a new room the first thing you do is look for an exit in case of a fire, when walking outside you take notice of where to run for shelter in case of bad weather and every night you lie wide awake listening for footsteps outside costing you valuable sleep. It was only after you made some serious preperations for such a scenario that your overclocked mind finally found some rest.
At the time it had felt silly to make such preperations in a neighbourhood such as your own and you had cursed your brain for being as it was many times. But now that it turns out your paranoia is actually justified you couldn't be more gratefull.
Your quickly grabbed your "Oh shit" bag at the bottom of your bed. In it was everything you could imagine for an emergency: Food, water, a first aid kit, keys and for situations such as these: a baseball bat, and handcuffs.
Your bag now firmly on your back you began the most dangerous part of your plans: climbing down the side of your house. Locking the window behind yourself you began the perilous climb down the wall, using pre-memorised grooves and some bricks that stood out. You used the drainage pipe to stabilise yourself on the harder parts, being carefull not to rest your full weight on it, lest it break and alert the intruder.
After a scary few minutes and a slightly larger drop than you had intended you roughly, but safely hit the floor. The damp grass tickling your naked feet, sending a not so subtle reminder that you are still wearing nothing but your underwear.
Speaking of which?
Does your underwear include a bra?
