Out for Dinner

After getting dressed, Spencer went to her kitchen and checked her fridge, finding a beer to drink. Once it's halfway down, Evelyn entered the room, back in her clothes.

"So you found the beer?"

"Well you didn't exactly hide it."

Evelyn shrugged. "You didn't find the best stuff."

"Oh, I think it's in the bedroom."

Spencer gave her a wink, to which she laughed at. "That's so corny."

He joined in with her laughter whilst shrugging. "Well, it's been awhile."

"Anyway, I do remember you offering to take me out for dinner. That offer still up?"

"Of course. I'd love to."

"You wanna wash up?"

"I get a feeling that no's not an option."

"Nope."

Spencer put his empty beer down, before kissing Evelyn and heading off to the shower. Once he was washed and dressed, Spencer found Evelyn in her bedroom, having expediently done her make up and wearing a sky blue dress that hugged her figure. Spencer felt she wasn't really the kind of girl who enjoyed dressing up, but she appeared to do so with ease.

"Wow, you look great." He said.

"Thanks. It's been a while since I've worn this."

"Well, glad you did."

"I think you'll be happier when you take it off."

Spencer smiled upon hearing another one of her devious statements. "Oh, of course."

"Shall we get going?"

Evelyn drove Spencer to Thuong Thien, where the two talked about their children until their meals arrived. Upon the first bite, Evelyn said "I forgot how good this place was."

"We'll have to come here more often."

"Sounds like a plan."

Once the meal was finished, Evelyn realized that she'd left her handbag, and in turn her purse at home. Sensing her uneasiness, Spencer said "You'll find a way to make it up to me."

Evelyn nodded her head with a smile. "Sounds like a fair trade."
