Jack takes his wife out on the town.
Out and about
"Hey, honey," she greeted him, her smile warm and genuine. "Tough day at work?"
He **** a smile back, a hollow charade. "Yeah, a bit. But you know what? It gave me an idea. How about we celebrate surviving another week? I was thinking… that fancy new rooftop restaurant downtown? And maybe… a suite at the Imperial Grand for the night? Just us."
Sara’s eyes lit up, her face glowing with delight. "Oh, Jack! Really? That sounds amazing! You always know how to surprise me." She hugged him tightly, pressing her big boobs against his chest, her thick thighs brushing against his leg. He held her close, a knot of guilt and despair tightening in his gut. Her trust was a heavy burden, a crushing indictment of what he was about to do.
Later that evening, as Sara excitedly picked out her dress, a shimmering silk number that hugged her curves perfectly, Jack felt a profound sense of detachment. He watched her, a stranger preparing for an unknown fate. He helped her with the clasp of her necklace, his fingers trembling slightly.
Downtown, the city glittered, a kaleidoscope of lights. The restaurant, perched atop a skyscraper, offered breathtaking views. Jack feigned enthusiasm, clinked glasses with Sara, and listened as she chattered happily about their day, her plans, their future. Each word was a poisoned arrow, reminding him of what he was sacrificing, what he was giving away. He could barely taste the exquisite food. Sara, however, was in her element, radiant and vibrant, completely oblivious to the dark current swirling beneath their romantic facade.
After dinner, hand-in-hand, they took the express elevator up to the 28th floor of the Imperial Grand. The penthouse suite was magnificent – plush carpets, a king-sized bed with an opulent headboard, a private balcony overlooking the city. Champagne awaited them, chilling in a silver bucket.
"Wow, Jack," Sara whispered, her eyes wide with wonder. "This is incredible. You really outdid yourself." She turned to him, her eyes sparkling with affection. "What's the occasion for all this spoiling?"
He pulled her close, kissing her deeply, the taste of champagne and her lipstick on his lips. "Just you, my love. Just us. I thought we could try something… new tonight." He tried to make his voice sound playful, adventurous, but inside, he was screaming.
Sara giggled, her hands threading into his brown hair. "Oh? And what might that be, Mr. Brown?"
He led her to the opulent bed, the silk sheets cool against their skin. With practiced ease, he reached into his bag, pulling out a silken blindfold and a pair of soft velvet ties. "A little game, my love. To heighten the senses. To trust."
Sara’s eyebrows arched, a playful smirk on her face. "Ooh, naughty. I like it. You've been holding out on me, haven't you?" She lay back on the bed, her eyes shining with anticipation. Jack’s heart twisted. She trusted him so completely.
He gently placed the blindfold over her eyes, his hands shaking almost imperceptibly. "Just relax, my beautiful Sara," he murmured, his voice thick with a concoction of love and unspeakable guilt. "Let me take care of everything."
He tied her wrists lightly to the elegant bed frame, just enough to restrict movement, making sure the velvet didn’t chafe. Her ankles followed, soft and pliant. Sara giggled softly, a sound of pure innocent pleasure. "This is exciting, Jack. What else do you have planned for me?"
Jack leaned over her, his breath catching in his throat. He kissed her forehead, then her lips, a farewell kiss, though she didn’t know it. "Just… wait and see," he managed, his voice barely a whisper.
