Organic

The room within looks almost alive, the walls, floor, and even ceiling seems to be made of a combination of flesh and chitin in purple and brown, with light hints of green. There's even a slight pulse to the room, quivering slightly every few seconds. This isn't exactly what you had in mind when you heard 'Alien Horror' but whoever made the exhibit put in a ton of work. You walk further into the room and see several huge pods growing from the walls and floor. The 'skin' of the pods is an odd toxic green color, brighter than the largely dull colors of the rest of the room.

Curiosity overwhelms you and you touch it. You're shocked to discover it has a very gooey feel to it, and your hand goes in far deeper than you thought it would. Suddenly your hand is floating in an oddly warm liquid. You try to think of what the pod could be made of when something painfully latches onto your arm. You try to pull away only to realize it's you that's being dragged into the pod. You look around and scream desperately for help, but there's nobody around. You hold your breath as your head is dragged in, followed by your entire body.

You're now floating in the green liquid within the pod. You can now see the hand you were dragged in by and realize in horror it hasn't been grabbed, but instead several chitinous tendrils have pierced into it. Pain shoots through your body as more tendrils rise from the ground and pierce you all throughout your body. You gasp and accidentally swallow a mouthful of foul tasting liquid, yet it doesn't trigger the primal fear drowning would. As more tendrils attach you can feel them starting to pump something into you, and the pain only becomes worse. You turn to look outside the pod only to see something closing around it, leaving you in total darkness.

Then you feel something impeding on your very thoughts.
