You feel the energy in the room noticeably darken, as the customers around you quickly pay for their orders and leave. You also notice that all of the spiders in the bakery seem to be staring at you. You feel like it would be a bad idea to keep pressing on the this matter, so you reluctantly relent and take a step away from Muffet. "Ahuhu, I appreciate the attempt. However, I was simply doing this out of the kindness of my heart. I really don't need any more help, so if you want a different job, you're free to go get one." Muffet winks at you after saying that, though could it really be considered a wink if she closes all the eyes on one side of her face? Regardless, you accept the fact you won't be getting any more money, and now it seems you won't be getting the job either. With that, you turn away from Muffet and begin to leave before things get more hostile. From behind you, you hear Muffet call out, "Thank you for visiting. Come again once you are actually ready to pay, ahuhuhu."

You step outside the bakery as you think about where to go next, regretting the loss of the treats you had picked out. The sun is high in the sky right now, so you should have plenty of time to visit another one of those places you saw yesterday.
