The waitress then proceeded to take their orders. Lauren realized she didn't even have a menu, but B4ritney took the initiative and ordered for her.

"She'll have the kid's mac and cheese." Vanessa said.

Lauren huffed slightly as the waitress left. She was now left awkwardly sitting in the highchair, pinned by the feeding tray. Her bare legs kicked out before her. She felt so utterly absurd she looked around, expecting a dramatic reaction to her situation. To her surprise, nobody was paying her the slightest mind. Surely a 20 year old girl in undersized clothes deserved some attention? She was surprised to find that she was more disappointed being ignored than if everyone was staring.

Lauren noticed something else upsetting. Both Dennis and Kyle were engaged in conversation with Britney. In fact, they enthralled, listening as she spoke. Lauren was annoyed. Britney was of course stealing the attention of every boy! Sure, Lauren wasn't looking for attention, but that didn't mean she wanted Britney getting all of it! She huffed, pouting.
