All the madness you have just been through calls for caution. You decide to stay hidden. You hold your breath.

He quickly walks away. In the distance, his footsteps are progressively hidden by the constant noise of the heavy machinery. You wait five more minutes and exit your hiding place.

You go on, wandering around the cold and metallic corridors. Your path crosses a few doors that seem to lead back to the public areas. Each time, you hesitate. Should you go back in? Should you warn your friends and sister? But each time the distorted face of Esme imposes to you and you never find the courage to push the door. Each time you dwell back into the dark and rough corridors.

A few hours later, hunger and thirst start bothering you and yet you cannot shake the fear. Eventually you fall asleep between two very large machines.

You have nightmares, many many nightmares, nightmares of you, your sister, your friends falling prey to Esme and the other vampires and you wake up with a monumental headache. Your mouth is dry and you are completely lost.

You do not know what to do. A part of you is ready to give up, go back outside and face the consequences. The other just wants to crawl under the bed and die.
