Options

Clicking the options page you see four tabs at the top that read

"controls"

"visual"

"audio"

and

"misc"

The menu starts you off on the "visual" tab. Everything seems to look pretty normal, if not unexpectedly high quality. There's a drop down menu for resolution. There's a toggle for windowed of fullscreen. There are several dropdown menus for "anti alias" "render quality" "render detail" "texture detail" and "particle effects." Below which are a serious of check boxes for "High quality shaders" "dynamic shadows" and "motion blur." Out of morbid curiosity you click the advanced options. How many more options could there possibly be? How high quality could this game possibly be? Maybe the game is all options menu and no game?

Clicking on the button shows a ton of other toggles drop downs and check boxes. They seem to be categorized in two sections: "visual input", and "visual output." The options under "visual input seem normal at first with options like the "field of view" and "brightness" sliders or the "lens flare" and "motion blur" checkboxes. The other options like the "cloudiness" and "lens quality" sliders or the "source distortions" check box give you some pause however. Even weirder is a button labeled "custom 'seen as' function." Under the "Visual output" section appears to be options for levels of censorship. There is a slider that has several points along the scale starting on the low end with "none." You drag the slider to find the second option is labelled as "genitals" then "genitals and nipples" "genitals nipples and h*nd h*lding (you degenerate)" and finally "genitals nipples h*nd h*lding and face". Two checkboxes below the slider went gray on the second to last and last option on the slider. The checkboxes being "hand holding" and "face" which seems to imply you can censor the face and not the genitals or censor hand holding by not genitals. Below the checkboxes is a drop down menu for type of censorship. The options are "black bar" "mosaic" "blur" "black lines" and "white light."
