Option B: First of Many

I tap Lady Killer first, and it distributes 100 Submission Points to my total. I then tap Maximum Dominance, and a pop-up appears.

Ok. That could be useful, depending on what an upgrade does. First, I verify my new total submission points: 336, then head to the store. I see that one of the icons in the store is no longer grayed out. Its a green bold plus symbol labelled trait upgrades. I tap it, and a new wall of text appears.

Welcome to the trait upgrade section of the store. Traits come in many forms, some can be upgraded, and some cannot. Some further traits also have pre-requisites to upgrade. Only traits that you can currently upgrade will appear in the store for upgrade. Trait upgrades initially cost 250 submission points, and double for every further upgrade. The effects of the upgrade are unique to each trait and can vary in usefulness.

I click verify, and look to see what is available.

IF YOU SAY SO (II): When the target disagrees with the user on something, if the user insists, three times per day, the target's knowledge or common sense will re-write so that they agree instead.

FIRST OF MANY (II): In addition to what it already does, if the target is assisting the user in increasing a different target's submission, the submission gained is doubled.

Wow, the description about variance in usefulness definitely was telling the truth. The effects from FIRST OF MANY (II) is much more useful than IF YOU SAY SO (II). I obviously want to upgrade FIRST OF MANY, its right in line with what I was focusing on Sandra for in the first place, getting allies to assist in making Ms. White submit. That said, 250 submission points feels like a lot. I have 336, so I can buy it, but I feel like I won't be able to rely on achievements giving me as many points moving forward, since I'm getting the opening levels of them now, and if achievements work like they do in other things, they'll get progressively harder. For now, I tap FIRST OF MANY (II). A pop-up asks me to verify that I want to spend 250 points upgrading FIRST OF MANY. I click yes, and watch my points drop down to 86.

Now there is only IF YOU SAY SO (II) in the store. So either FIRST OF MANY doesn't have any further upgrades, or I haven't unlocked the next one yet. Either way, any further upgrades are a ways away anyway. After this, I close the app down.
