Open writing

A fictional world suffers from the Idiots Virus which affects only women and it lowers their IQ, which in turns makes them believe everything is perfectly fine, while they still have the knowledge they acquired in the past. While they're infected their way of thinking becomes simple causing them to focus heavily on their primal instincts, like sleep, hunger, reproduction and believe whatever they hear, no matter how absurd.
