Online Dating

After a lot of thought and consideration, you come to the conclusion that online dating is probably your best bet. While it does certainly have its downs, primarily creeps and catfishers, at least you can get your true intentions out of the way and at find people who are at least curious in switching or poly relationships. You really have no interest in building a relationship with a stranger, only for them to leave when they realize that you weren't kidding and/or won't change your mind on the matter.

You set to work, going through the tedious process of proving that, yes, you are who are say you are and not a robot. When you finally get through all that bullshit, you finally get to work on the hardest part; making yourself desirable. You know you're not bad looking; you definitely had a lot of attention from the other boys in high school. You know you're shit at taking pictures though. There's also the fact that you have no fucking clue how to describe what you want in a way that won't send people running the opposite way. The computer screen stares back at you for what seems like hours as you rearrange and delete photos and revise your replies to questions. You take a break to get dinner and, before you can question yourself anymore, post it when you get back.

It doesn't seem terrible, but you can already feel the anxiety bubbling up in your stomach as you go over your replies again as you wait for a response. You had made it very clear that you were interested in switching and poly after making yourself out to be an ordinary person. And your father had helped you with your pictures, helping pick out the flattering ones you had and taking a few more when you weren't pleased with all the suggestions. But what if that wasn't enough...?

Eventually you **** yourself away from the screen and into bed. Hopefully you'll have some responses by morning.
