"Oh, that reminds me," says the stranger in a disturbingly happy tone of voice. "There is one more thing you should know."
"No!" yells Jessica, "we're done with your games!"
The stranger continues as if nothing was said, "Niki was not an original part of this. If you want to keep your genders you will need to make sure she keeps the kids."
"What?" you yell into the phone but the stranger is already gone. In your dazed state you recall your nightmare. Why? You are unsure but you do. You had been falling and reached out to Jess. Jess had clasped your hand right as you woke up but had it been male Jessie or female Jessica?
