One last chance...

"What? I'll do whatever it takes!" Katie said desperately. She could feel her chance slipping through her fingers. The coach gave her a pat on the shoulder, then rushed over to the judge. The judge raised an eyebrow, then, after some more talking, nodded his head. He went offstage for a moment while Katie's judge came back towards her.

"What did he say?" She asked, fighting panic.

"You can take the weigh in again." Her coach said.

"But... what good will that do? I'll still be too heavy!" Katie pointed out.

"Well... he said... you can weigh in... without clothes." Her coach, a man in his mid thirties, more then ten years her senior, looked away uncomfortably and coughed.

"W... what?!" Katie asked, crossing her arms over her top instinctively.

"The pros have to do it too occasionally." Her coach explained. "When it's this close, they'll sometimes let you weigh in without any clothing to get the most accurate weight possible."

Katie recalled hearing something like that before, though she'd never pictured it happening to her!

"Well, are we going to some back room or something?" Katie asked.

"I'm afraid not." The coach said. "Because there's more weigh in's after, the coach gave us five minutes. So we have to do it here."

"B... but I can't get naked in front of all these people!" Katie stammered, blushing instinctively and shooting a glance at the familiar faces of her family and training partners.

"Relax, we've got you covered." The coach said. Just then the judge returned with two men, each holding two towels.

"Now, step up on the scale." Her coach said. In a shocked daze, Katie returned to the scale. The two men, the judge and her coach each stood around her. Using the towels they made a box of protection with the towels that covered Katie from collar to lower thigh. Though she'd be naked in public, it looked like it would keep her important bits hidden.

"Now, we're running out of time." Her coach said. "You've got to undress Katie!"
