One More Test

While you and the rest of the Diviners marvel over the spiraling tower, apparently just as stunned at the beautiful spire as you were, Nandra turned her attention back to you, although it was hard to fully tell with most of her face covered.

"Now, I don't need to use the art of Divination to know that more than a few of you are tired after your travels here and the selection in the Assembly Hall, but we have one more piece of business to attend to before you retire for the evening." Nandra announced, drawing all eyes back to her. In the short time that she had spoken though, several men dressed in flowing blue robes, not unlike Nandra's, had appeared, each holding a large length of cloth that was rolled up. Without any indication given, they unfurled the lengths of cloth, revealing a plethora of different items inside. Cards, orbs, jewelry, and so much more was brought forth.

"As many of you are already aware, Divination is an art that allows one to determine things that you should not possibly be allowed to know. Answers to questions you did not ask will be yours. However, it is not an easy ability. Only the greatest of masters have ever been allowed to get so clear a picture that the knowledge flows into their thoughts with such clarity that it needs no further interpretation." Nandra explained, her words reaffirming things to those that already knew of the art's practices, but explaining it for the few that didn't, you being among them.

Waving one of her arms towards the multitude of items on display, she continued "As such, many Diviners make use of tools. Objects meant to help better channel our abilities into manners that is then up to us to discern the true meaning from. Those that knew your paths in life already have already brought with you a divining tool, and so this will not be necessary for you. Those that are without one, please step forward and find your destined object. Remember, this is something your spirit will pour into, seeking out answers, so do not choose hastily, but do not dwell too deeply on it. Let fate carry you from here."

Most of the group stood back, apparently prepared for their future in Divination far better than one might have asked of them, there were a few like you that had not prepared themselves for this. Either unaware of what would help better themselves before or not expecting to go down this path. You joined them in stepping forth, examining the different items being presented and determining what it was they would use.
