Chapter 11 by MrChyoo MrChyoo

How does James pay his debt early?

One Last Hurrah

You finish up class with a smile on your face, something that has been an almost daily occurrence since you became Trenzalore’s second school teacher. You never really had a sense of purpose in your life before you got here, sure you knew you wanted to be a teacher, and eventually that turned into being a counselor, but you never really knew what else to do. You didn’t like living at home with your parents, you detested life in the city, and living out in the rural areas made you feel too isolated. You wanted the closeness of a city with the perks of a rural life.

That’s when an old classmate of yours from university, James Young, mentioned that he was starting a commune and that if you ever needed anything to contact him and he’d do his best to help. At first you thought he was insane, no one in their right mind moves out into the middle of nowhere to live in a commune, let alone START one. So you keep trudging through life, hating the way each day made you feel, losing girlfriend after girlfriend because you weren’t satisfied with your life, and admittedly took it out on them.

So, after a couple years, you decided to take a sabbatical and visit James in his commune. You weren’t sure why, but even at the time you felt like it was your last real shot and finding belonging somewhere. So you drove out to Cape Ragelorner, asked for directions to Trenzalore, and wound up rolling into the perfect situation. James and his girlfriend, Melanie Brown, met you at the gate and showed you around the compound. Three years has made a significant difference in how the commune looks and operates, but the key structures remain the same.

You stayed in a motel in Ragelorner for almost a month, visiting the commune almost daily and staying by either Melanie or James’ side and shadowed them during their daily routines. James kept insisting that you spend the night in their spare bedroom rather than pay for a motel room, but each day you felt more and more drawn to the commune and you wanted to make sure you had somewhere to retreat from it to settle your thoughts. It didn’t help that every day you spent with Melanie was filled with flirting, causing you to lose focus even further.

Looking back, it was only a matter of time until you moved in, and after a couple months spent only socializing with James and Melanie, and occasionally James’ friends the Moore’s, you accepted James’ offer to become the second school teacher for the commune. How long after that you started sleeping with James and Melanie is hard to say, as honestly the process was dreadfully confusing for all three of you. James knew that both you and Melanie were bisexual, but you had always had more luck in your relationships with women.

Melanie on the other hand had always found success with men, and admitted that you were only the second woman she’d ever slept with. It sort of just fell into place, and it became almost a ritual of sorts after the first couple of times. You would only go over when you were in need of companionship, and even if your intentions were pure when you arrived at their house it never ended that way. Even now, after you’ve spent almost two years dating Carrie Snyder, you still will find yourself at James’ house once or twice a month.

You’re not quite sure WHY Carrie is okay with you going over there, poly relationships were something you had never explored before the commune, but all Carrie would ever say was that she “understood it was something you needed” and that she only asked that if you two ever got married that the relationship become a monogamous one.

That was something you whole heartedly agreed with, and you wouldn’t have minded becoming monogamous earlier, but she almost insisted you sleep with James and Melanie from time to time. Not that it matters much, you had already made the wedding bands. Now you were just waiting to scrounge up a gem to put into hers in order to propose.

As all of these thoughts fluttered through your head, you were walking back home from work and were looking forward to spending the night inside, catching up on some reading. About half way home you saw James walking towards you at a…worryingly quick pace. Once within ear shot you asked him what was wrong. “Oh nothing’s wrong! Well, I mean, nothing concerning you at least haha. I just have been sent to find you is all and Melanie’s pissed enough at me, so I didn’t want to waste any time.” He started rubbing the back of his head, the telltale sign that he’s unsure of what to do now.

You sigh “What’d you do now James? If you don’t marry her soon she’s going to leave your dumbass on the side of the road.” His laugh was stronger than normal, like he wasn’t laughing at his own expense so much as actually finding what you said funny. “Oh no worries there, believe me Melanie will be even with me soon enough if you agree to what she’s planning.”

Interesting…and concerning. “Planning? Oh god James, when she plans something it always means one of the two of us ends up sore for a week.” Another belly laugh, though this time you know for sure that it’s a sign you’ve nailed it on its head.

“Well, I’ll let her tell you the details Adelaide, but safe to say you should probably let Carrie know that you won’t be home tonight haha.” You sigh again. “I had really been hoping to spend the night reading, but as much as Melanie likes to **** me, I can’t lie and say I probably won’t enjoy it…” You must be blushing because he just smirks at you.

Luckily your house is on the way to James’ so he accompanies you on the walk there, and after a brief conversation with Carrie and quickly grabbing a couple things you’re off to see what Melanie has in store for you this time. You’re hoping it’s not as strenuous as last time, blushing at the memory of taking James and a strap-on wearing Melanie inside of you.

“Alright, spill it James. How worried should I be?” He chuckles, then sighs. “If any of us should be worried it’s me Adelaide. Tonight’s not going to be very fun for me as opposed to you and Melanie I’m afraid.” Was that concern in his voice? Or just disappointment? “That’s not very encouraging…”

He shrugs your worries off, and after another couple minutes of walking you arrive at his home, though as you open the gate you notice Clair seemingly chasing a cat down the road. “What’s up with your Sister?” James looks briefly before turning back to you “I’m sure she’ll tell me the story tomorrow, but looks like she’s chasing down another stray she’s trying to adopt haha.”

It’s your turn to shrug as you both walk into his home. Comfortable as always, you notice the distinct lack of Melanie anywhere in sight. “Where is she?” You hear a rustle on the balcony above, and look up and forget to breathe for a moment. “Up here my little pixie.” Oh god tonight was going to be intense…

What does Melanie have planned?
