One Last Hope

Bail Organa stormed through the Rebel Base, sneering and almost snarling at the almost visible reduction in their personnel. Ever since Mothma had been 'captured', their forces had been leaving in droves.

Some claimed it was due to Bail and his allies increasingly more ruthless and aggressive tactics to both their enemy and their own allies.

Though most felt that it was because the Empire had more incentive for people to join up. And no incentive was better than the Recruitment Posters of the Empress and the now three Princesses, dressed sexily in a variety of provocative poses, leaving no ambiguity in what was on offer for joining up.

It was also well known that they were more than happy to give you what you wanted - and so much more.

Bail Organa hated those fucking posters. He hated finding them around the base. And he hated how they still had no idea how they were being brought in or who was doing so.

But what truly enraged Bail about those posters, was the way they showed his sweet, innocent Padme and her impressionable daughters (or whatever that Rey girl was) had been utterly corrupted by the evil Anakin Skywalker.

Perhaps if he could've convinced Padme to be with him years ago, then maybe he could've saved her and their daughters.

He shook his head to clear his thoughts as he arrived at his destination. Opening the door, he found the Old Crone of a Jedi, Jocasta Nu standing in the meeting room for the Rebellions Leadership - or what was left of it. In her hand was a glowing purple cube shaped Holocron from the Jedi Temple.

As Master Nu had explained, this Holocron was locked deep in the vault of the Jedi Temple, known only by the Jedi Council and the Head Librarian. Very few people knew about it and even fewer knew what it could do.

Jocasta explained that it was an ancient artifact that could supposedly pull certain individuals from other dimensions and timeline to yours.

Apparently the last time it had been used had been during the Jedi-Sith Cold War almost 4000 years ago, apparently bringing the Hero of Tython to their dimension.

Unfortunately that was all that was known about it.

But now, it would be used to bring to them the person (or persons) who could vanquish the Sith.

"Are you sure this will work, Master Nu?" He asked almost nervously.

He grimaced when the ridiculously old woman nodded, almost being able to hear her bones creaking together as she did so. She smiled almost madly, the years of witnessing her fellow Jedi fall into the Depravity of the Dark Side.

"Of course it will, Senator." She said with false reassurance, as not even she knew if it would actually work. "And once we bring over the Chosen One who defeated the Sith in their dimension they will be more than willing to do the same in ours and restore both the Jedi and the Republic to our proper places in the Galaxy." She almost ranted madly.

She'd never liked Skywalker. He was too willfully and too undeservingly powerful, that she knew his Fall was inevitable.

Sadly the Old Council had been too sure of themselves and had given him far too much free rain.

But once Skywalker was defeated by a true Jedi, the control he held over his victims will be broken and they'll return to the Light.

Having told the Senator what to do, Jocasta handed the Holocron to him. Hey, just because she was a Jedi didn't mean she was going to put her own life on the line. She had no idea what this thing would do.

Holding the Holocron in his hand, Bail thought deeply about what he wanted.

A Jedi who had defeated the Sith.

And with a bright flash of violet light, the Holocron opened. Blinded by the light momentarily, the Rebellions Leadership stared in shock at who had appeared before them.

Who is it? And how many?

Teenage Jedi Knight Padme Nabriee and her 'best friend' Anyssa Skywalker, who vanquished Darth Sidious during the Clone Wars?

The Last Jedi, Rey Skywalker who defeated the Final Order and is now rebuilding the Jedi Order?

Jedi Master Jaina Solo, who has just defeated her evil twin Darth Caedus?

All of the above?
