Once more unto the breach.

As tempting as it would be to shrug the entire thing off and leave it to the Titans to get around to (whenever they did), it wouldn’t really do yourself any favors to ignore a crime when you were just within earshot.

You groan out an annoyance before running over to the source of the sound.

A large armored van lies on its side, it’s back doors shot open with bars of gold pouring out. Staking claim over the gold is Doctor Light, a villain in a black suit who uses technology to manipulate various forms of light for combat purposes. Judging from the scene in front of you, he’s already taken out most of the Titans temporarily. The only one left still fighting is Raven.

Before she can fire off a spell, Light fires a blast that knocks her to the ground.

“Bit of advice, use shorter magic words,” he criticizes with a smug air.

Raven’s response is not audible to you, but whatever it was causes Light to goad her more. Then, to your surprise, she suddenly seems to grow in size while her cape becomes a great deal longer as she floats in the air. 4 glowing red eyes are visible beneath her hood, and large tendrils of her magic reach out from under her cloak to grab Light and begin pulling him towards her.

He, understandably, freaks the shit out. But even surrendering doesn’t stop her from dragging him across the ground. You honestly have no idea what the hell is going on or what to do, and Light is quickly pulled beneath her robe. If it weren’t for the fact that Raven appeared to have snapped, you probably would have felt jealous of the villain. As it stood now though, you had no idea what to do.

Thankfully, the boy wonder manages to snap her back to sanity by calling out at her. She appears to regain her sanity, and as she returns to normal Light is left behind looking (and sounding) worse for wear.

That man has clearly seen some SHIT, because he is outright terrified and no longer cognitive enough to recognize that he’s safe. Robin tried to coax him back to sanity (good luck with that) while the other Titans look to Raven for an explanation on her actions. She merely walks away after another brief episode with glowing red eyes.

Unfortunately for you, you happen to be right in the alley she begins walking toward.
