Chapter 47 by robyna robyna

How was Biology? Was Cindi blowing hot or cold?

She was hard to read

Matt managed to avoid the football jerks--for once--and slunk into biology.

Dr. Dyle was busy flirting with Natasha and Tanya, trying to look macho when he was just a fat bald guy with a propensity toward uncontrollable sweating. He would, Matt guessed, have a heart attack if either girl even suggested doing anything sexual but Matt wasn't interested in finding out for sure.

Cindi stared at Matt with a strange look on her face.

"What?" he demanded.

{if Cindy<5}She turned away and walked to the refrigeration unit to get her pig.

{elseif Cindy<20}"Hey Matt. Ready to go. Not sure we're going to be getting much instruction today."

"Yeah, I see what you mean. Dr. Dyle sure looks like he wants to give hands-on instruction to Tanya and Natasha."

"Like you wouldn't?"

He wasn't sure how he was supposed to answer that one. Of course he'd like to give hands-on instruction to the hottest girls in the school. That said, he wasn't crazy and he didn't think Cindi was interested in his fantasies about banging other girls. He decided on a half-truth.

"They're both pretty but that doesn't stop me from concentrating on what's important." He didn't have to tell her that banging the two hottest girls in school was the most important thing he could think of.

"If you say so."

"That's my story."

{else}"Hey babe. Want us to pick you up for the dance tomorrow?"

"Uh, no. I promised I'd ride with my sister and her friend."

"Oh. Okay. See you there, though, right."

"Yeah."{endif}

{if cindidate=true}"We still on track to go skating tonight?"

"Sure. I'm looking forward to having you whip my ass."

"It's happening."{endif}

{if cindidate=true}"I can't wait for our date tonight. And do not tell me you've forgotten."

"Nope. Couldn't forget something that important."

She smiled.

{elseif Cindy>40}"You know, Matt. I wonder if you're shy or something."

"Meaning?"

"Meaning it's time for you to ask me out on a date."

"Oh. Yeah. I sort of don't have a car. It makes dating awkward. I could ask my mom to drive us but she normally doesn't get home until--"

"I have a car and I'm free tonight. Where do you plan on taking me?"

"Uh, ice skating?"

She smiled. "That sounds perfect."

{elseif Cindy>0}You know, we might get together in the evening sometime... to go over our biology and stuff. If you wanted to, I mean.

"Yeah, I'd like that. I don't have a car so evenings are hard for--"

"I have a car."

Yeah, it figured. This was the Hill, after all. Of course just about every kid in his class would have cars or at least access to cars. Considering that there was nothing close enough to walk to and the good citizens of the Hill would have collective heart attacks if L.A. County decided to route some busses into their neighborhood, that meant poor kids were stuck hitching or not going anywhere which he figured was part of the plan to discourage poor people from living anywhere nearby.

{else}Matt got to work on his pig.{endif}

What next?
