On the way...

A few actors in their spooky makeup wander the grounds of the farm, just outside the attraction. Being a horror movie fan, Dana loved halloween and scary attractions, so she enjoyed seeing the actors walking around having fun. But it was hard for her to enjoy the experience with Shane's hand around her waist the whole way over.

Every now and then, one of the actors would come up and scare some of the patrons outside. Dana thought this was really fun. Shane, not so much.

"Look at these guys, I'm not scared of them." Shane says in Dana's ear. She rolled her eyes and tried to ignore him.

An actor in a bloody clown outfit on stilts came up to the two of them to strike.

"HELLO THERE LOVEBIRDS!!!"

Dana instinctively gives a shriek like a girl in a classic horror film. Shane then puts his arm in front of Dana and pumps his chest up to look tougher.

"You don't scare me man! You're just a stupid clown!" Dana's fun scared demeanor changes to mild annoyance.

"Oh, the little man trying to act tough around his girl?" Says the clown.

"You're so lame!" Shane says storming away still holding Dana's waist.

"Sorry that your boyfriend's no fun!" The clown says to Dana. That comment pisses her off. She swats Shane's hand away from her and turns back to the clown.

"HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND!"

The clown creeps away laughing maniacally. Shane is left surprised and without anything to say. Dana doesn't look at him and starts walking faster to the haunted house with her arms crossed. Shane starts jogging to catch up.

"Hey, wait for me!"
