What's next?

On the way to class

You step out into the sunlight, blinking to adjust your eyes. The city looks pretty different - the architecture, like most of the design, is elegantly beautiful without being ostentatious, the ubiquitous plants produce a marvellous symphony for your senses, and the sounds of a bustling city are... somehow more like a brook than a chainsaw.

You realise part of why that is quickly - there are very few vehicles on the road. The sidewalks however seem to be some kind of springy, rubbery green ground cover. Most of the people you see passing by are bounding along it, as though they're crossing a giant trampoline.

Well, when in Rome - You wrap the lower fold of your toga to preserve your modesty, and take a few experimental jumps. You get the hang of it quickly, and soon you're bounding down the sidewalk at a decent clip.

You're far from the fastest though - as you round a corner you are overtaken by a petite Asian girl who seems to be in quite a hurry. She glances back as she springs by, and you could swear she's checking out your junk - the way you've wrapped the toga doesn't leave much to the imagination in that respect.
