On the phone with her assistant

“Tell me you have something good for me,” Lauren said. “And not one of those stupid kid commercials.”

“Lauren, it’s getting harder to find good gigs because you keep refusing to do them,” Mary said on the other end. “And people are starting to refuse to work with you because they say you’re really mean on set.”

“Well tough love, when you have a body like mine and not not a fat loser one like yours you get to be the diva and run the town. If people don’t like that, they can kiss my ass,” Lauren said.

“Would it hurt you to be nicer?” Mary asked.

“I don’t have time to be nice,” Lauren said. “I am the star here and you are my loser assistant who can’t seem to do her job properly. Get me a gig by 2 PM today or you’re fired.”

Lauren hung up the phone and rolled her eyes. She sighed as she sat down on the couch of her penthouse apartment. It was definitely great living the luxurious lifestyle but she hated how incompetent people could be.

Suddenly her phone went off again. “Hello?” Lauren said.
