Chapter 4 by splotch splotch

What's next?

On stage at their first big show!

Randy had been surprised when they heard back from Freedom Fest, a big rock festival that happened annually. They had gotten in! He had sent off their demo for the last three years, but finally they'd made it! This was going to be their biggest show. They'd be playing before hundreds, maybe even thousands of people. The whole town would be there, plus music critics, other great bands, and even some celebrities! Plus it would even be streaming live!

No one in the band was more ecstatic then Lauren. This was her big break! If this went well she'd be able to shake off this crappy town and finally be as famous as she always believed she deserved! That was why she made the band rehearse mercilessly. Often she wouldn't even sing at practice, just use the time to critter the others. They had to be perfect dammit! It was driving them all crazy, but they wanted to do well just as much as she did, so they allowed Lauren to **** them to rehearse over and over again.

Finally, the big night was here. They were all backstage in the greenroom, nervous as heck. Lauren arrived three hours late. But, no one could argue that she didn't look great. Her hair and makeup were amazing, total pop diva perfection. Her breasts, always shockingly perky, were tightly contained in a red skin tight dress, that hugged her every curve. She had six inch stiletto heels. She looked every bit the part of a star.

"You're on in five." A stage hand told them. Everyone started to move towards the stage. Finally, they were introduced.

"And now, your local legends... Lauren and the Hillside Rollers!"

The band looked about in shock. They were just called the Hillside Rollers, right?

"I had our name changed." Lauren said.

"Uh, without asking us?" Lily said.

"Yes." Lauren said coldly. "I didn't want to hear the stupid debate. Now, get your head in the game, and nobody miss a beat, you got that?"

With that she marched onstage, her glower instantly turning to a beaming smile. She waved as the audience went wild. The band, baffled and a bit hurt, wandered out after her...
