A cloud of incense and pine smoke wafts toward you from the central tables and the fire pit. Where are Lindsay and Mary? Blinking and waving smoke from your eyes, you make your way forward, following the sound of laughter. Lindsay's laugh is easy to tell, and you turn round the corner of an RV to see a party dressing area with your ladies chatting with some of the folks.

Lindsay is laughing with a tall, buxom woman dressed in floaty, transparent silks. Lindsay has a big brass goblet in one hand that wouldn't be out of place at a Medieval Times banquet. Mary's thanking Greg for inviting you to park in the no-show folks' hookup space. Greg has changed out his blanket poncho for a costume that's pretty much some kind of caveman necklace and a furry animal skin kilt that covers him waist to knees, fronted by some brag padding over where his dick would be.

"Oh, hey, Brian," Greg says. "Happy to have you over here, glad we could get you hooked up. This is Roxana," he says, waving to the big, tall gal in the silks. "Once Lyla is back, we're going to get things started. Pretty soon after that, it's gonna be in or out for the rest of the evening."

"You're doing some special costume party, like a pageant?" you ask Greg, figuring he'll clear up whatever Lyla didn't explain.

"It's a very special party," Greg says. "Everybody's got a part, yeah. I'm the Hunter. Lyla's the Maiden. Or maybe it's the Bride, 'cause Lyla's gonna become an official member tonight. Roxana's the Priestess, she kinda directs the whole show. Jimmy's, I guess you could call him the Witch Doctor." Greg waves at a wild-eyed fellow in a belted white robe and sandals who approaches carrying a bottle like a wine bottle, but it's clay with a stopper instead of glass with a cork or a cap. "You and your ladies stick around, you'll have a costume and some sort of part. Roxana knows."

"Let me check with the ladies, see what they think of all this fol-de-rol. It's a little fancier than we're used to, me and Mary." You nod to Greg and catch Mary.

Mary's smiling. "Best I understand, honeybear," she says. "The main part of the party is to give Lyla the chance to touch Heaven as much as she can stand, however she wants it, as many wieners as she pleases inside her. And that's the way they welcome her. I think there's some dancing around and singing and a little drumming and that sort of thing to get warmed up. Roxana said I'd be the Harvest Mother if I joined the party. I mean it sounds like kind of a hoot, but I wasn't gonna get ahead of anything. I mean, it's not like we planned this for tonight."

Lindsay's eyes are sparkling as she leans close to Roxana. "So I'd go next after Lyla if I want to be in on the party?"

Roxana nods. "Yes. You would be the Wild Girl," she says. "Full of curiosity, she gets closer and closer to the circle, until she cannot resist joining."

Roxana sees you looking and turns around. "Will you be our Green Man?" she asks.

• Or make your own way. Charm Roxana into choosing a role that will give you a specific sex partner in the party, using MAKE HER BEG: Roll +Hot(+1). If she isn't convinced, probably things go as the first option.
