Olivia joins the game

Oliver reluctantly rolled the dice, aware that the game could drastically alter her body or even personality. The dice tumbled onto the board, coming to a halt on a 2.

Oliver: Well crap.

Oliver's piece move forward 2 spaces and ended up on a yellow space, meaning that Oliver was about to receive a change that would alter reality around the group.

Oliver: Let's get this nightmare over with.

Oliver grabbed a card from the yellow deck, ready for her life to change. Reading to herself silently, the card read: Nice to meet you Olivia.

Startled by the words, she looked down at herself, trying to see if her body had changed yet again. The rest of the group watched on, eager to understand what the game had done this time.

Lydia: What does the card say Olivia?

Olivia: It says something about nice to- Wait, what did you just call me?

Lydia: What do you mean?

Olivia: You just called me Olivia!

Lydia: Oh sorry, I forgot you prefer Liv.

Olivia: What are you talking about?!

Georgia: Are you feeling ok Liv?

Ethan: Yeah, you're acting odd. Is this something to do with the card?

Olivia: Yes! It must be! You guys keep calling me Olivia, when my actual name is Olivia.

The group looked back at the girl, confused about how they were supposed to act.

Olivia: Wait no, my name is Olivia, not Olivia... Why can't I say Olivia?! Arghhhh!

Ethan: We don't understand what you trying to say dude.

Olivia: I think reality has altered so that I was never called my old name. Now you guys all think I'm actually called Olivia.

Georgia: But that's been your name ever since I've known you!

Lydia: Yeah we've been calling you Liv forever?!

Olivia: That is exactly the kind of power the game has!

Ethan: Yeah that makes sense actually.

Olivia tried to say her name in her head, but found she could only think of herself as Olivia. "Fine" she thought. "I guess this is my life now".

Olivia: Whatever, the round is over now.

Seb: How long is it gonna make us wait this time?

Almost as if it was answering his question a timer appeared above the board, counting down from 10 minutes.

Seb: This thing still creeps me out...

The group had 10 minutes to kill before the next round could start...
