Chapter 83 by Yellowjack42 Yellowjack42

Does Etna have more then just the food shopping left on her "list"?

Oh dammit...

It appears that my hopes that she was done with clothing or anything non-edible was greatly ignored, Etna scanning all of the stores with the sharp eyes of a hawk and giving not a single glance toward the food court...I was beginning to get hungry and I could only imagine what the Prinnies were doing at home. This brought me to another idea, it was obvious that Etna drew her energy from the food she ate but how did sugar effect her this much? Seriously, was she that intensely focused on the treat that she got a mental high off of it?

"John, woo hoo," Etna's voice broke me from her trance, waving a massive lollipop in my face. I shook my head and looked down to Etna, "Sorry I was...where did you get that?" Etna pointed her thumb over her shoulder, the mall's candy store slowly becoming a speck on the horizon as we walked. "H-How did you?" I began but Etna held up my wallet, a few of the random dollar bills gone as she handed it to me. My eye twitched with irritation...she was really playing fast and lose with her position here...

"OH OH OH!!! JOHN!" Etna pointed excitedly, her finger drawing my attention to the focus of her insane joy. Surprised as I was it made sense in a way, Etna was pointing to the locally owned Mom and Pop video game store, one of the rarities that found a home in the mall by my house. "There!" Etna said, dragging me along as she nibbled the edge of her lollipop, "We have to go there!" "Wait!" I spoke up, stopping Etna with a sudden screech of my heels and a pop of my wrist, damn she was strong, "Hold on a second!"

Etna turned to me with a raised eyebrow, licking her lollipop slowly with an enticing smile, "Something wrong Johnny?" With a roll of my eyes I began, "No, it's not working this time. How much money do you think I have Etna? We can't go out buying games for no reason." Granted, I did have a pretty large collection of consoles and games at home but this was far besides the point. Etna glanced slightly to the side, peering in the window of the shop with a curious gaze. Sure enough, lined up against one wall was a row of TV's, complete with several different game systems attached. The moment this registered in her mind a sly grin crossed her face, her mischievous gaze turned to me, "Who says we have to buy? It looks like they let you play them right here, at least for a little bit."

Etna's voice became a purr she pressed her body against mine, a smoldering look in her eye as she whispered in my ear, "I can make it worth your while." Despite her best at seducing me I was not fooled, Abby and Etna have tried worse, one of which I can ignore and the other I can resist. So it was easy for me to lightly push her away and cross my arms, my eyebrow raised as I responded, "Oh? Alright, suppose we do go in there and play a few games. How does that make it worth my while?" Etna pouted a bit but it never reached her eyes, a cunning look in those crimson orbs as told me her plan, "How about a bet Johnny. A few rounds of a game, whoever wins gets what they want."

"If you win I'm guessing you want a game," I asked, a giggle and a smirk my reply. "Sure, something like that..." Etna said, swaying on her feet as her tail waved in a casual sway, "So, what'll it be Johnny?"

So what do you think? Do you take the bet or do you need to get moving?
