Chapter 13 by Blues32 Blues32

submit to training?

Oh, what the hell? Why not?

I frowned, rubbing my chin a little. "Well...I never thought much about being a villain before," I mused, "but with you as my loyal little henchwoman, it would be stupid to turn you down." Jinx squealed in delight, hugging me. I would work out the details later. Either I'd be stuck becoming a criminal mastermind or I'd have to find a way to make Jinx believe we had been committing crimes lately. What can I say, I'm a sucker for the puppy dog eyes.

Dressing herself in her old clothes, Jinx crossed her arms. "Well, I hate to say this, John, but your selection blows," she told me. "I mean, do you even own a pair of sunglasses? You need SOME way to hide some of your face. Eyes can be crutial to properly ID-ing someone so it's important that we hide them." She stepped closer and gripped my face gently, turning my head left to right. "Not other distinguishing marks," she muttered. "No scars or anything. That's good...." Jinx seemed very dedicated to her task.

"You know, Jinx, you could use some more clothes yourself," I noted. "After all, that's the only outfit you have, isn't it? And a very recognizable one at that." Jinx looked down at her gothic-ish Peter Pan outfit, pouting. "Well...yeah," she admitted, "but what am I supposed to do? I can't go out there and shop...and you know my bad luck powers have turned on me." Ah, yes. She did mention something about that.

I frowned. "Well...I DO have some clothes left behind from a very ungrateful ex...but I'm not sure if they'd fit you. You're a lot more petite then her," I remarked. She giggled at my comment but nodded her head. "Won't know until we try," she replied. If they fit her, we could go shopping for the right outfits. Just had to make sure she didn't try to make any five finger discounts.

To fit or not to fit?
