You bring the enchanted telescope up to your eye and peer through it, looking out over the ocean. You scan the horizon, spotting the occasional leaping fish here and there, but you spot nothing too exciting. Nothing, that is, until you hastily bring the telescope back to your eye to do a doubletake of what you think you saw.

Indeed it is true, further down the shoreline you spot what appears to be a beautiful woman completely naked, sitting on a large rock within the ocean. Her bottom half was that of a large fish, and its scales shimmered vibrantly in the sunlight as the mermaid looked on pensively, unaware of the pirate observing her from behind.
