Chapter 2 by Rotstiftakrobat Rotstiftakrobat

Does the van meet my expectations?

Of course.

The van looks exactly as described: small, white, clean, and very well maintained. I am absolutely delighted and silently thank my uncle for his help with the purchase.

Next to me stands the salesman, Jack. Jack is in his mid-40s, well-built, and tanned. I've rarely seen such large forearms. His dark hair is tousled, and he has oil stains on his overalls. But he's really nice and shows me everything about the van. He even filled it up with gas and washed it again. He's just a good guy. As I said, I can also use his workshop for the next two weeks. I'm very happy about that.

Now, however, I have a lot to do. I have to go to the hardware store and find accommodation for the next two weeks. Preferably as cheap as possible, of course.

Will I find accommodation?
