The four sat down in a booth in the corner.

“Amazing coincidence” Patty said.

“Who recommended this restaurant to you?” Clair asked.

“The detective who was handling my case.” Patty said.

“Detective Stonefield?” Clair asked to which Patty nodded. “This is what happenes in small towns, everyone knows everyone or in this case, is related. Marsha Stonefield is my sister-in-law. She’s married to my brother Simon.”

“You have no idea how excited I am for you.” Sarah said to Billy. “I know when Andrew left, you were heartbroken… but seeing the two of you togther like this makes me happy.”

“She’s always wanted to ‘mentor’ a young gay couple.” Clair said

“I had a couple who took me under their wing as a young woman and I kinda want to pay it forward.” Sarah finished.

“I guess we could… I do have one question?” Patty asked.

“Go right ahead.”

“Are you hiring? I want to keep as much of the settlement money in the bank as possible and, well, I want to spend as much time with this angel sitting next to me as possible.”

“Oh you…” Billy said

“For you two, anything.” Sarah said.
