If anyone would remember the old magicks, it would be one of your kin. Unlike most others, the dark elves do not shun the old and forbidden knowledge. They cultivate it. To be a scion is to be a pursuer of the hidden arts, an entrepreneur of the taboo, dark and devious. What causes you to struggle in identifying it, what gives you pause and cause for hesitation is the fact how impossible your find seems. You can sense the magic within, the vast presence directing it. You had thought it all extinct, erased before your time. But here it was - The Book of Domination, fabled and infamous to those that know of its existence, yet nothing more than a fancy tome to those that do not know its power.

In the hand of even the most amateur mage, it could become a tool of absolute control, not just of magic, but all things - Living or not. Lana clearly follows your eyes and manages to draw the conclusion that it is something of importance. She's always been a sharp one for a human. You appreciate that about her. A keen mind, sometimes, goes well with an invitingly plump body like hers. "You know this one." She says, drawing the correct conclusion, "Wanna tell me what's so special about it, or are you gonna make it a secret?"

She playfully pushes out her tongue at you, showing a rather playful side she hasn't shown much of so far, clearly invigorated by her theft. Before you can give an answer, she is already reaching out. Regardless of whether you would allow her to wield such a thing in your presence, you know the book to be dangerous - Immensely so. Unprepared minds could be shattered on first contact, hollowed out for the ancient Domination to gain a vessel of desire. So whether out of personal interest or genuine concern, you could and probably should prevent her from touching it.

The book possesses the power to adjust, even control or destroy any thought, any mind, soul, personality. Reality itself is but clay to be molded before the full potential of this forbidden power...once the wielder learns to control it without being controlled.
