Of course yes!

I tapped the option with my neighbor's name, and it gave me three options:

• Direct Order

• Reschedule

• Turn Off Willpower

The three options piqued my curiosity quite a bit, but I decided to go in order and tapped the first option.

A small keyboard popped up, and a space appeared for me to type.

Could it be possible that I could send a direct order to my neighbor?

Just thinking about it, a feeling of power washed over me. If this was real, it would be the greatest fantasy of my life come true.

I decided to type something simple:

"Open the curtains."

I kept thinking, was this really going to work? Suddenly, a bunch of insecurities flooded in. What if my neighbor found out about this? She'd think I was an idiot and tell my parents.

And before I could continue worrying, I noticed through my window that the curtains of the house across the street had opened, and now I could see my neighbor moving around her house.

I should have been more specific, perhaps, and clarified that they were her bedroom curtains, since I could see her walking around the house, opening all the curtains.

But after opening all the curtains, she continued her routine as if nothing had happened. It was as if the order had been her own idea. She didn't find her own actions strange at all and just kept doing her thing.

The feeling of power was somewhat overwhelming at this point. I wondered how far the orders would go, but I needed a test subject. Experimenting on my neighbor could be risky, especially since my parents know her quite well, and if they come back and notice something strange, it could be dangerous.

I put the alien device in my backpack and decided to go to the mall. I'd probably find something fun there to use with my new toy.

I took my bike with the intention of going downtown. I was leaving my house when a car crossed and almost hit me.

I managed to memorize the license plate numbers of that car, as the incident was quite dangerous.

Anyway, I pedaled angrily for a while to the mall.
