"Yeah come over whenever you want." She sent back. She needed to talk to Sam about what had happened and see if she could make sense of it. Maybe Sam would have some advice or know someone who could help her understand her feelings.

A few hours later, Sam showed up at her house. Jordan let her in and they went up to her room.

"Hey, Jordan, how was the party last night?" Sam asked, flopping down on Jordan's bed.

"It was okay, I guess," Jordan replied, sitting down next to her. "I had a bit too much to drink and ended up hooking up with someone."

"Oooh, who was it? Was he cute?" Sam asked, grinning.

"It was Josh," Jordan admitted.

"Josh, huh? I hear he's pretty good in bed. So, did he..." Sam trailed off, wiggling her eyebrows suggestively.

Jordan blushed. "No, he didn't... He pulled out... Just In time may I add." She looked down at her hands, feeling embarrassed.

"Damn, that's a bummer," Sam said. "Would've been hotter if you were a little more risky," she finished, wiggling her eyebrows at the suggestion.

"I mean, I got a thrill out of the risk," Jordan confessed. "But I don't think I could handle the consequences of getting pregnant. I mean, I'm only eighteen and have a lot of life ahead of me."

"Come on Jordan, where's your sense of adventure?" Sam teased. "Besides, it's not like it's a guarantee. I got creampied last night, and you don't hear me complaining." she said with a wink.

Jordan looked at her friend in surprise. "How can you be so casual about this? Don't you realize how dangerous it is?"

"That was the whole point of this month. To let go, forget about consequences and have some actual fun. To try something new and exciting. I can't believe you already forgot what you said yesterday!" Sam exclaimed.

"I know, I know," Jordan sighed. "I guess I'm just not as comfortable with the idea of taking risks as you are."

"Well, maybe we can help you feel more comfortable," Sam said, her eyes glinting mischievously. "Why don't you come party with me next weekend? You can meet some of my friends, and maybe you'll feel more open to trying new things."

Jordan hesitated. "I don't know, Sam. I'm not really into the whole punk scene."

"Come on, Jordan. It'll be fun," Sam pleaded. "And besides, you won't have to worry about being judged by everyone like you do when you party with the cheerleaders and jocks. We're all pretty laid back and accepting of people."
