“Aww, you don’t need to do that,” says Melanie.

“Thanks man! A cold beer sounds great,” says Matt.

You reach the clubhouse, park the cart and hop out. “What would you each like?” you ask.

“I’ll take a Soft Parade,” says Matt.

“I’m not sure if the have that here,” you respond. “Any other options if they don’t?”

“Then make it a Mike’s hard lemonade. I know they have those,” he replies.

“You got it! Fruity or fruitier,” you jokingly reply.

Melanie can’t help but laugh at your reply and says, “that’s my Matt… Mr. fruit drink!”

“How about you Melanie? What would you like?” you ask.

“Great question, Ryan!” she replies, “I’m not sure. I need to use the ladies room so I’ll meet you at the bar and let you know what sounds good. Besides, I wouldn’t want you to be caught in public carrying my fiancé’s ‘manly drink,’ she says with a heavy sense of sarcasm and a little giggle. Matt just rolls his eyes and plays along.

You are at the bar when Melanie sits down next to you. “So, what will it be Melanie?” you ask.

“First, you can stop calling me Melanie. Please call me Mel,” she says.

“Okay Mel, does anything sound good?”

At that moment she looks toward the door and sees Matt waiting in the cart. She returns her attention to you and flirtatiously says, “to be honest, I don’t really need a drink but I’d take a tall glass of Ryan!”
