You briefly consider skipping it out of anger. However, you can’t miss Sara’s party.

You carefully choose a red dress. Maybe you’re just being a little passive-aggressive, but you do love the dress.

The shiny red sequined dress clings to your curves in all the right ways. You put your hair up and spend a good half hour getting your makeup perfect.

As you are finishing a hummer limo pulls up.

You step inside. Di is dressed in black and hands you a glass of wine. You look around somewhat surprised to see everyone dressed in black.

“Um, did I miss the dress code?”

Di gives a giggle.

Sara laughs. “Not at all. Besides I love the way red looks on you.”

You take a seat, sip your wine, and look over the passengers. Her fiancée’s sister Angie has a dreamy smile and a pretty black choker. Di looks fantastic in a tight black dress. Two girls you don’t know flank Sara. They are young, pale, and supermodel attractive. Despite their good looks, Sara manages to look better. She is easily fitting in a size three and still manages beautiful c-cup breasts.

Sara grins at you. “Tara, you remember Angie.” You nod. “And, to my right is Natasha. To my left is Xabra. You may be wondering what I’ve been up to.”

“Yes, you’ve just about ghosted Di and me.”

“I know and I’m sorry. I’ve been put in charge of hospitality for the high rollers. It’s literally the perfect job for me. I’m making the connections Steve will need when he becomes the new Lord of Darkness.”

“Lord of Darkness? What the hell are you talking about? Why are your eyes…”

Natasha and Xabra smile, displaying shockingly long canines. This bothers you but you can’t seem to figure out why. Sara’s eyes are simply too compelling.

“Relax Tasha, soon you’ll be a gorgeous immortal bitch. You will forget what just happened, enjoy tonight, not see anything usual, and be excited to be my bridesmaid.”

Suddenly Sara looks away. You take a big sip of wine. “Fuck let’s party!”
