Of Bats and Cats

Bruce Wayne was a busy man. As the one and only Batman, not only was he expected to keep a lid on Gotham City, but he was also a founding member of the Justice League who was entrusted with much of the organization’s management and leadership.

Bruce quickly found himself with less and less time to spare on his home-ground, Gotham City. He was forced to delegate more and more of the local crime-fighting responsibilities to the Bat Family and his other allies.

Bruce often found it regrettable that he didn’t have the time to personally train and induct his latest promising protege, Jaseid, to bring him to his full potential as Gotham’s newest Bat. However, he had entrusted the supervision of Jaseid’s training to very capable hands - That of his wife.

As Batman, Bruce had a long history with the Catwoman, Selina Kyle. The two always had strong chemistry together, though circumstances often discouraged them from forming a permanent relationship.

That changed after Darkseid’s invasion. Upon realizing how fragile their lives really were, Bruce decided to seriously pursue Selina, ultimately proposing to her.

Selina accepted, and the couple became an item, both as Batman and Catwoman, and publicly as Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle. They were wed soon after. Selina officially became Mrs. Wayne and the lady of Wayne manor.

Bruce had entrusted Selina to mentor Jaseid in the ways of the streets and to oversee his training regimen. Therefore, the two often spent a lot of time together and Bruce never had cause to suspect a thing.

It was only many months later, when Bruce had a rare respite from his responsibilities, that he started to notice odd signs.

Bruce realized that Selina and him seldom talked anymore, other than surface level chitchat. His wife was often preoccupied on her phone most of the time. The only time she wasn’t on her phone was when she was out with Jaseid.

Jaseid works out religiously five to six days a week. Rather than work out in the bat-cave or at Wayne mansion, he prefers to patronize a private gym in downtown Gotham City. Selina would join Jaseid almost daily for his workout sessions.

Selina always had a rocking body and was never really shy to flaunt it in skin-tight outfits. Despite that, Bruce still found himself shocked by his wife’s choice of attire whenever she headed out to the gym with Jaseid. She started preferring outlandish shorts and tops that clung tightly to her incredible curves and showed off substantial bare skin.

Selina also acted very comfortably around Jaseid. Way too comfortable. It was almost like she can’t stop clinging to the young black male. And she never seems to mind when Jaseid puts his hands on her body. Not even when he gropes her ass.

With his bat-sense tingling, Bruce switched on his detective mode. He secretly installed a rootkit onto Selina’s phone to intercept any data coming in and going out of the device.

The very next day after bugging his wife’s phone, Bruce watched Selina prepare to head out to the gym with Jaseid again. As usual, she wore very risque workout shorts, though she wore a surprisingly modest and baggy T-shirt this time round.

“Don’t wait up, Brucie,” Selina said to Bruce, “Jaseid plans to go harddddd today. Probably all-day!”

Bruce pretended to read the newspaper and grunted in reply. “Sure honey,” he mumbled.

Bruce watched his wife and protege march out the front door of the mansion. Jaseid didn’t even wait until the doors closed before his hand was fondling Selina’s shapely, sculpted ass.

Bruce patiently finished his breakfast before heading down to the batcave an hour later. He got on his bat-computer and was soon viewing a growing collection of files that had been transmitted and received by Selina’s phone.

Bruce browsed and came upon an image file which he determined from the metadata was uploaded by Selina to a private social network. He promptly opened the image file and stared speechlessly at the photo his wife had sent out just moments prior:
