Chapter 30

How could she know?
Observation
It doesn't take much to confuse people, mumble something then stare expectantly at them and they'll basically crumble, it's a lot harder to render them truly speechless. That requires something that they can't comprehend... Like your sister saying she knew you were sleeping with your other sister and cousin.
"How?" Is all I can muster. I want to say more, reassure her, try and explain myself, but... I'm truly speechless.
Poppy moves away slightly before looking up at me... And smiling. "I'm not stupid, you know..." She grins. "I suspected you and Rosie were up to something since you were locked in our room, then she didn't come back... Well, you're not as subtle as you think. Then Trish dragged me into her office, asking if I'd seen anything 'inappropriate' so I guessed she knew too."
All of this is a lot to digest, but that last sentence sticks out. If she didn't accuse Poppy then it means she doesn't know about us, but she definitely thinks something's going on. I hope Marie's right about her plan, otherwise we could have serious problems on our hands.
Pulling myself back into the room, I address the more pressing matter. "And... You don't mind that we all... Did stuff?" I ask hesitantly, causing Poppy to snort.
"I won't lie, I feel a bit jealous, but... No, no I don't mind, we're family, and I can't blame them for finding you hot." She responds. I'm sure she wasn't always this smooth a talker, I recall her stuttering and spluttering trying to talk to anyone. Is she just that comfortable around me?
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have kept you in the dark... Or tried to. I don't want to keep secrets." I sigh, pulling her closer. "I think it's best I get you up to speed."
*
It doesn't take too long to fill in the gaps for Poppy, who listens raptly as we lay on my bed, her resting her head on my chest.
"Wait, so Rosie want's to sleep with me as well?" She asks, surprised. I guess for all her keen eyesight she never picked up on our sister's bisexuality.
"She seems to want to fuck everyone, I think she sees it as a way of expressing any affection, like hugging." I ponder. "Are you..." I begin before tapering off.
Poppy takes a second to consider the intention of my question. "Bi? No, I've thought about it but... Nah." She clarifies. "It's flattering though."
Sucks to be Rosie, I guess... Though, knowing her, I doubt it'll blunt her efforts. "It's fine, I'm happy to keep you to myself." I smirk, hugging my sister a little tighter.
"All yours, huh?" Poppy giggles, looking up at me. "Careful, people will start to talk." She adds with a wink. Wow, that's a new one, I think my stomach just fluttered a little, she really is too cute.
I suddenly roll over, laying Poppy on her back and pinning her down. "Let them talk, they're just jealous I'm allowed to kiss you." I gloat, before doing just that. Poppy seems to appreciate me taking control, and returns my kiss with sweet moans. I can feel myself getting excited... But...
I pull away, getting off of my sister. "What is it?" She asks worriedly. "Is something wrong?" Her face looks deeply troubled, as if she's trying to think what she did to make me stop.
"It's... It's not like that." I reassure her. "I just... Don't want to push you too hard, or cross any lines you don't want crossed." I explain. It's different with Poppy than with the others, she feels more vulnerable. More emotionally invested. More romantic. I don't want to take advantage of her if she's not ready.
She moves closer to me. "Thank you..." She offers me, with a grateful smile. "For, you know, letting me take it slowly. I get Rosie and Marie jumping right in, but... It's special to me, you know? That first time."
"You don't have to thank me." I correct her. "If a guy tried to push you into doing something you didn't want to, I'd tear off his limbs. I just want to treat you like you deserve."
Poppy laughs at my bravado. "Even so, I appreciate it. Besides, you've got two girls to keep you busy in the meantime." She points out. Damn, she may secretly be the coolest girl I know, who else would be so accepting of all this. Which reminds me, I haven't heard anything since they went to the room...
I can't tell if that's a good sign or a bad one.
What's the outcome?
