Chapter 52 by Artican Artican

How does the shift go?

Nudity titilates the mundane

After Skylar left, I settled into my position. My skin was vibrating as I had never expected to be sitting nude on the actual bridge while it was running. I took a quick glance at everyone else and they seemed to be at ease with the experience, perhaps acclimating to it before I arrived. All I knew was that I could feel goosebumps of excitement on my forearms, my legs shivered anxiously, my nipples were rock hard and my vagina felt like it was humming.

The ship engine purred in what felt like a low key charge to my nether regions as my bare feet brushed against the carpeted floor. Every sensation I was feeling was vibrant and new. The leather of my seat rubbed against my backside, giving way under my weight yet clinging defiantly along the way. My senses were running on such high levels that I failed to keep proper observation of my station.

"Ensign Trask," Lieutenant Greene called out.

"Uhm... yes, sir?"

"What is our heading?"

I took a look at the course and found that we were listing from the projected heading by twenty degrees. "Ah, we are off alignment, sir, I will make the corrections." I punch in new parameters and the ship righted itself.

"Any reason why we were pushed off course?" Greene asked out loud.

"We were knocked off course by the wake of a graviton wave, Lieutenant," Tiloth announced.

"Natural or artificial?" Greene asked.

"Hard to tell from this distance, we'd have to move in closer for a better look."

Greene nodded. "Let's check it out. Ensign Trask, set course for the epicenter of the graviton wave."

"Aye sir." I answered. Tiloth transferred the wave projection for me and I calculated the point of origin. I then punched in the heading. "Heading marked in, sir."

"Engage."

I engaged and the ship altered course to match my entry. We arrived at the point of origin within fifteen minutes, only the coordinates were off.

"What's wrong, ensign? I thought you were taking us to the epicenter," Greene asked as she approached my station and leaned over to look over my ship commands.

"I did, Lieutenant, but the graviton wave is much more intense here," I explained while acutely aware of Greene's bouncing breasts hovering over my shoulders. "I can't push further without being pushed back by the source of the wave."

Tiloth made several scans before reporting, "It appears to be local anomaly. There is a warning buoy warning about its effects."

Greene nodded, "Nothing to wake the captain over then. Let's log those scans and move on."

"Distress call coming in from the epicenter, Lieutenant!" Ensign Amasova announced. "Someone's trapped in a gravity well in the center!"

How will Greene decide to proceed?
