Nowhere, rest instead

After stretching, Lucy considered pestering her friends but decided against it. Instead, she sat and waited for the time to pass.

Cassy sipped away at her coffee. Kate twiddled withe her hands. Lucy stared at the clock, ticking one second at a time.

As seconds turned to minutes, Lucy's head began to droop lower. Her vision blurred as her eyes slowly shut themselves.

Soon, Lucy was fast asleep. Leaning forward in her chair, her head lay on the table in front of her. With her mouth slightly open, she drooled onto the obsessively clean table.

Sometime later, Lucy blinks her eyes as she wakes up. Lifting her head, she notices something different from when she fell asleep.
