Noticed by the boss

Lauren froze as she stepped into the restaurant dining area. There were so many people! How could she be expected to work in front of all these strangers with just a towel around her waist? It was insane! No, she had to flee! Unfortunately, the owner spotted her before she could scramble away.

"Lauren?" She looked Lauren up and down. "What on earth are you wearing?!"

"I... I..." Lauren couldn't think of an answer. In fact, she could hardly think at all. People were beginning to look her way, noting her towel and grinning.

"Well, you'll be receiving a write up for this dress code violation." Kathy shook her head. "Now get to work."

Lauren, now stuck and unable to leave, looked to the tables of customers. She really had to go talk to them like this?!
