Lauren's heart fell to her stomach. Now what.

Muriel clearly noticed Lauren's panic. "Oh but don't worry! I'll turn the heater on so it'll get nice and cozy around here." Muriel smiled to comfort her and made her way to turning on the heater.

Lauren... was going to remain like this? No clothing, and just her diaper? Knowing Vanessa she would take almost a full day until coming back. But it didn't have to be like this actually. Lauren turned around and looked at the door. It was not locked, so she could escape. She had left a spare key to her apartment at one of her neighbors, so she could return home right now and be done, although she would have to go through the humiliation of facing her neighbor like this.
