Nothing

TEN!

Samantha opened her eyes and saw ... nothing. She tried rapidly blinking in case there was some kind of mistake. Yet she could see nothing. "No," said Samantha in a low, disbelieving voice. "NOOOOOOO!" she screamed in sheer panic. "YOU PROMISED!" Samantha was greeted with silence. Samantha flayed her arms around in the hope of finding one of the girls. Fear started swelling that the girls had left her. Samantha tried to convince herself that they were still here, that Tina and Tess weren't that cruel. Samantha began to panic. How would she get home? What would she actually do? Tears began to form in her eyes. "COME BACK PLEASE!"

"Restore."

Suddenly Samantha's world was filled with lights and colours. She blinked away the tears and looked up to see Tess and Tina. In that moment they looked like two angels. "Thank you! Thank you!" Samantha cried in joy.

"Seems like everything is back to normal," said Tina. She had tried to keep the emotions out of her voice but Samantha's happiness had infected her and Tess spoke like she was glad everything was back to normal. "Well that was fun but I'm going home."

"Me too," said Tess. Both girls had red marks on their hands where they had bitten down to stop laughing out loud. However when Samantha had started to shout and scream they realised that they probably had gone too far.

Samantha watched the two girls walk away like what just happened was everyday level normality. Samantha was tempted to jump up and give them both hugs for returning her sight. Then her mind caught up with her emotions and reminded her that it was the girls who took away her sight in the first place. Then she felt rage and anger that they could have been so cruel and heartless to start with. She wanted to run up and attack the girls; smash their faces into the ground. Fortunately her mind was now working and reality hit her. Samantha knew she had zero chance of defeating Tess or Tina never mind both of them and that was before they were armed with Voodoo magic. Samantha knew she would have to pick her battles.

Carefully Samantha stood and looked around. She couldn't see another individual. It was only when she started walking did Samantha realise that she could not feel the ground beneath her feet. Looking down she noticed she was fully clothed. Samantha scanned the area before putting her hand down her pants. She could feel a full bush. It appeared everything had been restored.

Samantha headed home hoping that was it for today.
