Chapter 7 by Ben Rosewood Ben Rosewood

Do they find anything interesting?

Nothing much

Inside the shed, Spencer and Jessica proceeded to sort through the boxes. Nothing caught their attention except for a few old tools that Spencer decided to take. He looked at the dings and scratches on them, and wonders what tales these tools could tell if they were able to talk. The houses they built and maintained, or furniture they repaired. Beyond that, it was all junk that the two cleared out of the shed and loaded into Jessica's car. After an hour of hard work, Jessica said "How about a drink?"

"That'd be great."

Spencer followed her back into the house, his eyes drifting towards her plump ass. Inside the kitchen, Jessica said "Juice fine?"

"Yeah, sure." Jessica poured two glasses and they both swiftly drink down the refreshing blend of orange, carrot, and ginger.

"You make this yourself?" Spencer asked.

"Sure did."

"It's fantastic."

"Thanks. Say, I better get your money."

"No no that's fine. I've got my money's worth from the tools."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, it's fine."

"Aww, Thank you so much."

"Well, I had better get going. It's getting pretty late."

"Sure. Thanks for all the help." Jessica said. Spencer left, somewhat disappointed he didn't get the payment he'd truly desired. He wondered what kind of game Cindy was playing with him. Did she want him all for herself? Part of him realized she was as tricky as the politicians he used to work with in Washington D.C., and maybe just as devious. Maybe he should have ran out of that classroom when he had the chance.
