Nothing happens... Until it's time to go.

The baggage compartment under the bus was getting rather full, so Erica struggled to put her bags in. "What's all that?" Lisa asked her. That ruined her mood immediately. She didn't know that Lisa was going to the Living History Camp. Or Alicia and Carrie, for that matter. They were standing on either side of her.

"What are you doing here?" Erica asked as she started shoving her bag again.

"We're chaperoning!" Carrie said enthusiastically.

"You look like you're having trouble with your bags," Alicia commented.

"I've got it," Erica insisted, trying to make space where none existed.

"Why do you have so many bags?" Lisa asked.

"That's a stupid question," Erica retorted. "We're going to be away from home for a week."

"I think," Alicia interjected as she started flipping through her clipboard, "that Lisa is referring to this." She held out the clipboard for Erica to take.

"Alicia, I already signed the permission slip when you came by two nights ago," she said as she turned to face them. Her efforts had left her sweating and tired, but she had finally gotten her bags to fit.

"Permission slip?" Carrie asked.

"Yeah, the permission slip for the camp," Erica reiterated as she started moving towards the door to the bus.

"That wasn't a permission slip for you to go to the camp," Alicia said.

Erica stopped and made her way back towards them. "Yes, it was," she insisted. "You said Mary sent you."

"Mary didn't send me," Alicia said, offering the clipboard to Erica again. She took it and started reading the page.

Erica was silent for a moment. Then she exploded. "The fuck are you telling me I have to be naked at the camp!" she demanded after she finished reading. It didn't even matter to her that her own signature was on the form. She was just so angry that they had tricked her.

Lisa shrugged her shoulders dismissively. "Hey, you signed it."

Erica pulled the form free of the clipboard and tore it into pieces. "Just so you know," Alicia said, "that wasn't the original."
