Nothing for me

"No thanks, I'm good," I reply. He shrugs, grabbing a drink for himself and sitting back down.

We pass the time productively, getting pretty much everything done after just a couple hours. Every now and again I felt him gazing at me hungrily, but he never said anything or did anything more than that so I left it be; some men were just animals, sometimes. I was a little flattered that someone as intimidatingly attractive as him would see me as an object of desire at all, especially when I was outshone in our group by Amy. I left before it was too late in the afternoon, walking back to my dorm confident and accomplished.

I laid on my bed and checked my phone, alternating between social media. Casey had posted a screenshot of her matches on some popular dating app, nearly six hundred guys. I knew those apps were basically smash or pass, but that was a lot of people to swipe on her.

"Damn Casey, that's a high body count. Are they all coming tomorrow night?" I texted her, only half joking. Knowing her it was going to be mostly her past fuckbuddies with a few girls she knew.

"Ha, only some. It's pretty easy, you would definitely get as many or more if you tried."

"As if. Plus, I have a boyfriend. Not a great look." Maybe if I was naked in the pictures. I wasn't ugly, but I definitely wasn't Casey hot.

"True, but I'm just saying..."

Casey wasn't exactly what people would call monogamous, so it probably didn't seem weird at all to want to go on Tinder or something when you were seeing someone. Even though I was sure that all of those matches were a hell of a confidence booster, there was no way I'd risk one of my boyfriend's buddies seeing me. Opening up my pictures, I scrolled through all of my selfies and vacation shots, wondering which one would get the most attention.
