Nothing eventful.

Minutes pass, while you watch the charging symbol in your vision slowly count up. You tap your mechanical fingers on your legs with a quiet clacking sound.

Danny pages through screen after screen on his diagnostic unit. You wonder what he's seeing on there, and decide to ask him.

"Anything wrong in there?"

He looks up from the terminal, making eye contact with you.

"No, just, this stuff is... more advanced than anything I've seen before. You from outside the Zone?"

You don't really want to tell the truth to him. Instead, you decide to be vague.

"Girl's got her secrets, Danny. Does it work?"

He shrugs, and looks at the screen again.

"I can't see anything wrong, but this machine's decades older than your gear. It's probably fine?"

You lean back in the chair, meshing your hands together.

"Good enough for me."

"Otherwise, your physical health is fine. How will you be paying for this, by the way?"

The question catches you by surprise. You hadn't thought about that.
