Nothing, relying once again on Willow and Marianne

Mackenzie's great start to the semester came to a grinding halt within three months, when even her new wardrobe - bedsheets, pillowcases, and all - had been completely depleted. Her I.T. job replenished her for the next month, but the forces of fate were too strong and that too became uneconomical.

Mackenzie appealed once again to Willow and Marianne for clothing for her final month in school. After their refusal for obvious reasons, Mackenzie agreed to give them deposits for the privilege of wearing their clothes. While these were nominally refundable upon the return of the clothes intact, everyone knew good and well how rare that occurrence was. These deposits took a substantial chunk out of Mackenzie's paycheck, but they were better than having to replenish a full wardrobe every few weeks.

This deposit arrangement, despite being far from ideal, sustained Mackenzie through to finals week, which stressed her out for reasons unrelated to clothing.
