Nothing, except for trying once more

It's just another of those days, you guess, as you start up your car and just hope for the best.

There's nobody else in sight when you pull out of the parking lot, and not a single car on the road when you pick a direction on random. Not a single house, nor even as much as a hill on the horizon, but only the flat, deserted landscape around you, and the small hotel you're leaving behind.

A short while later you can see the fog start rising around the car, and no matter if you slow down to a halt, or push the pedal to the metal, you know the outcome will be just the same...
