Notes: About Braxton

An immigrant family named Braches (pronounced Brocks) moved to the US in 1890. Their descendants founded a town named Braches' Town in 1907 which eventually became Braxton. It was always a very free town and it started off having almost no laws at all. Braxton grew quickly until it plateaued into the medium sized town it is now. It has busy areas and quieter areas. High traffic avenues and dirt roads. It has movie theaters, ice cream stands, an amusement park, nature walks, pools, beaches (the original author of this story isn't sure if they're connected to an ocean or a big lake), it even got a nice airport that was built before Braxton plateaued and everyone thought it would turn into a major city, which clearly didn't happen. As it grew, it had to create more laws to ensure stability.

It ended up with similar laws to other towns. You can't use ****, business is regulated so they don't take advantage of people, there are zoning and safety laws, etc. The one piece of its old heritage that it kept though, is that it's very light on vice laws. The sheer lack of nudity and lewdness laws is what it's most well known for (among those that know of its existence in the first place). But, it also has never had obscenity laws, laws against recreational ****, or even laws against prostitution. The only laws regulating sexual activity at all are that it must involve only consenting adults and that there is to be absolutely no **** or exploitation allowed.

The people of Braxton have varied opinions on things, as in all towns and their opinions on nudity and lewdness are no exception. Some people love seeing nudity and will actively encourage it when they see it or try to push you to strip down, some people think it's a thing that only perverts and degenerates do. Some are okay with nudity but not arousal or lewdness. Some are even okay with arousal and masturbation but not penetrative sex in public. If you can believe it, some are even okay with just about anything as long as it's not illegal. No matter how much they oppose nudity and/or lewdness, the one thing everyone agrees on is that the law shouldn't be involved. That doesn't mean you can go to every school or business wearing only a smile and not face any consequences. Some might be okay with it. Some might kick you out or punish you in their own way. Some people will appreciate you rocking your birthday suit. Some will get turned on. Some will call you names. Some will cuss you out. Some will laugh and jeer. I imagine every exhibitionist will just so happen to come across exactly the situations and reactions that will appeal to him/her/them. So, have fun in this unique town!
